NaturalBody Ladies Lunch at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge turned out an elegant affair!
We began with introducing ourselves and sharing about where we live and how we got “here”! Many of the ladies had moved to Charlotte and were looking for new friends and new things to enjoy. Today’s lunch turned out a success to their adventures!
Tricia was our fun and knowledgeable wait staff host who was at our service every step of the way. It was rewarding to know that she has been with the hotel for 7 years going and for sure provided us with impeccable service!
Chef Kelly Morrow
Chef Kelly Morrow provided us with the finest in “Ladies Lunch” with an explanation of each lovely item and of course taunted us with other yummy items on the menu. Adding Weight Watchers point system to the menu was a delight to my client Kristie Pyle! Kelly himself is on Weight Watchers and decided to provide that information to the menu. What a great idea!
Ladies Lunch with the NaturalBody flair!
Most of the ladies did order the NaturalBody Ladies Lunch plate that consisted of the divine butternut squash soup with black rice and pumpkin seed, wedge salad with choice of dressing, grilled hot turkey slider with cheese and the shot of Bailey’s tiramisu with white and dark chocolate sticks. All for the value of only $12.00. An elegant presentation! Kristie Pyle enjoyed the sea scallops off the Weight Watchers point menu while Karen Klassing took on the Executive Lunch which included a wonderful salmon dish.
We all enjoyed meeting one another and learning about the beautiful opportunities of what the Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge offers when it comes to the dinning experience at the Gallery Restaurant. Little did I know at that time but I would be back in just a couple of hours to enjoy the 5 Course Scotch Dinner with my husband Jim that Kelly had up his sleeve for the evening special! (Check out the photos from that event! You don’t want to miss the next one! WOW!)
Leaving work behind and just being able to come and ENJOY was the main focus and for sure we will be back to do it again!
Winding up the lunch I had the ladies drop their names in a bowl for a free gift drawing. Kristie Pyle won the beautiful hand painted wine glass with personal initial and funny napkins that said “Laugh till you tinkle in your panties!” She will need to run to The Cubby Hole to trade the glass for a “K” but I am sure that was done right after the lunch!
Kristie is not a wine drinker but I bet she will put cold tea in this one!
Again THANKS to all the wonderful ladies who came out today to support my efforts in providing fun events to the community through healthy living. I look forward to seeing each of you at the next NaturalBody Ladies Lunch soon!
